Bloom
Bloom is a large-scale art installation proposed for Hyderabad, conceived as an abstract interpretation of the way petals unfold, evolve, and transform in nature. Inspired by organic growth patterns and fluid botanical forms, the installation captures a frozen moment of movement almost as if a flower is in the process of blooming. Its sculptural geometry creates a strong visual presence within the Villagio landscape, designed to immediately attract attention while still feeling soft, natural, and dynamic in form.
Crafted entirely in MS, the installation demanded an intense and highly complex fabrication process due to its scale, curvature, and structural weight. Negative molds and framework profiles were first developed to achieve the desired flowing geometry, after which MS sheets were carefully shaped and layered over the structure to create the final form. The process involved extensive manual fabrication, balancing precision with the rawness needed to retain the organic quality of the sculpture.
Heavy yet visually fluid, Bloom stands as a fusion of art, engineering, and nature-inspired abstraction.
