The Peeyush Residence is born from a shared love for fluid forms, translating a client’s vision into a home that breathes through curves rather than corners. Designed to house a joint family across three generations, the architecture moves away from the rigid “box” to embrace a design language that is as efficient as it is experimental. Using ferrocement to achieve its rhythmic facade, the structure allows these organic lines to flow seamlessly from the exterior into the heart of the home. This creates a visual narrative where arches and soft volumes do more than define a room, they capture the family’s character, adding a touch of poetry to the functional requirements of four distinct bedrooms and a sanctuary-like lounge.
Beyond the striking silhouette, the home is anchored by a central courtyard that serves as a pooja sit-out, creating a vertical connection that allows the family to feel each other’s presence across every floor. This pulse of togetherness is extended through a series of stepped communal spaces, from the soft grass of the ground-floor lawn to the expansive terraces and sunset decks above.
