Anahat art wall
Anahat Farms is a compelling exploration of Modern Organic architecture where fluid spiraling geometries are used to dissolve the boundaries between the built environment and the natural landscape. The project serves as a functional sculpture utilizing computational design to reimagine traditional construction techniques through a contemporary lens. The design is defined by its sweeping curvilinear forms and intricate brickwork that echoes the rhythmic patterns found in nature. By employing exposed brick and terracotta, the structure not only achieves a deep tactile warmth but also leverages high thermal mass to maintain a stable indoor environment.
A central feature of the project is its commitment to passive cooling strategies; the use of vaulted volumes and strategic openings facilitates natural ventilation, while the integration of water bodies and moisture wicking materials assists in evaporative cooling to significantly reduce the dependence on mechanical systems. Beyond its technical performance, Anahat focuses on the transition of experience. The entrance and circulation paths are choreographed to create a sense of discovery, guiding inhabitants through varying ceiling heights and filtered light conditions that soften the overall spatial quality. The project celebrates craftsmanship, using the broken brick aesthetic and vaulted geometry to create a sanctuary that is both environmentally responsive and aesthetically evocative. For a modern portfolio, Anahat stands as a testament to architecture that is sensitive to its surroundings, proving that sustainable infrastructure can be seamlessly integrated into an artistic architectural vision.
