Felicita, Goa

This project began with a simple question – how can design embody Goa, not as a style, but as a state of being? The answer unfolded in layers, spaces that flow with ease, and details that feel both rooted and reimagined. Every space is imagined as an art piece, crafted to surprise, to invite, and to linger in memory. The design blurs boundaries between function and experience: walls become canvases, patterns hold stories, and even a groove or railing transforms into a crafted moment. The palette is drawn directly from Goa itself, the rust-red of laterite, the pastel tones of facades, the deep blues of the sea, and the quiet calm of susegad living. These choices are not mimicry, but memory, woven into flooring, furniture, and mood boards that balance local soul with contemporary finesse. Ultimately, the project is about discovery. Each corner offers something new: a detail missed before, a story re-told, a gesture of Goan spirit made tangible. The attempt was never just to house life, but to celebrate it.
